Cookie Drawing
March 2012
For this project we needed to draw what we saw in front of us. We needed to sketch them out on the sheet and then we had to shade them. The sheet of paper had to be divided into three different parts. Three different stages; stage one had to have the whole cookie drawn, stage two needed one bite out of the cookie, and then stage three needed a little of the cookie left. I really liked this project because I got to eat the cookie and it was different all the other things we were drawing this whole year. I learned a lot from this project because I learned how to shade better and how to quick sketch. That's where you move your whole arm not just your wrist. It is supposed to be a practice to warm up your arm.

Quick Sketch
March 2012
This project we needed to do a beginning and an after drawing. There were things set out on a table in front of us and we needed to do a quick sketch of what we saw. For the first one we needed to do it in pencil and then for the second we could either do charcoal or pencil and shade it in. I chose to do the second one in charcoal. I liked doing charcoal because it was a lot of fun.

Scratch Away Pig
April 2012
I really liked this project because I did my favorite animal. For this project we needed to have to object or picture take up three fourths of the page. Why i decided to do the pig in the mud was because I really like pigs and when they are in mud they are just that much prettier. I think the most challenging part of this project was trying to add the different shades to it since we needed to scratch it out. I really enjoyed this project.

Drip Painting
Febuary 2012
We had to put random pieces of tape on a big sheet of paper and used water color to add the drip affect. Which was a lot of fun. Once the paint dried we pulled off the tape. We needed to look at the paper and we had to see some kind of image in the picture. I did like a masquerade looking mask as my image. I thought this project was the best out of all of them. It was a lot of fun to see what your image was since you went into this project with an open mind. I think the open minded affect really puts an affect on this project.
2 in 1 Drawing
April 2012
This project we needed to pick out two pictures that coordinated together. We wove them together to create a new picture. They pictures had to deal with us in a way. I really liked this project, because my favorite drawing technique is to shade. Some things we needed to do was o block out our shapes and then it was time to add the texture to the shapes. When ever we would ask how do you draw this, our teacher would say don't look at the picture pull out the shapes. It made it easier if you had a view finder and do what she said, block out the shapes. The best part of having this project is seeing what it looks like, you did this. Wow it looks good. I had a fun time doing this project.

Color Wheel Project
December 2012
I thought this was a fun project. Our teacher made a cookie on a stick. We needed to decorate it with one color from the color wheel. When we finished our color we needed to find other people with different colors, so we can create the whole color wheel.

Sketch
February 2012
I did this for one of my sketches. I really like drawing this kind of flowers. I really like splatter paint and I thought I could coordinate the both together. This has to be one of my favorite sketches I have done. A sketch is required to be turned in once a week.
